Alvin B. Kaulaity
June 10, 2026
Alvin B. Kaulaity passed from his earthly presence on Sunday, June 7, 2026, in Carnegie, Oklahoma.
He was born on April 23, 1943 in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Adam Kaulaity and Helen Quoinqodle Redhorn Kaulaity. His paternal grandparents were Joe and Sally (Tonekeahbo) Kaulaity; maternal grandparents were Jesse Quoinquodle Redhorn and Clara (Paddlety) Redhorn.
Alvin, more commonly known as "Moon" to his local community and close friends, was raised east of Mountain View, and received his education in the MV public school system. He then settled and worked in Dallas, Texas for the remainder of his adult life. He married Josephine Ridge in 1976, she preceded him in death in 2005. He returned to the Carnegie area in 2019 due to declining health issues.
It was with great joy then to reconnect with family members on a more regular basis and for his many younger nieces, nephews and extended family members to become acquainted with the kind, gentle and heartwarming presence that exemplified his entire life.
Alvin was preceded in death by his wife, Josie; his parents, Adam and Helen; brothers, Donald Lonewolf, Clifford Reeder, and Adam Kaulaity, Jr.; sisters: Martha Kaulaity, Lenora Catterson and Janice Kaulaity; nephews: Derek Reeder and James Kaulaity Bluestone.
He is survived by brothers: Jesse Kaulaity, George Kaulaity and sisters: Alpha Kaulaity, Sallie Watt, Nema Kaulaity, Valerie Kaulaity, Cherie Kaulaity, Carol Vetter; sister-in-law, Liz Reeder, and many beloved nieces, nephews, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family of Alvin Kaulaity appreciate and thank Deana Lynn, Crystal, Tracey (nieces) and the Carnegie Nursing Home for their kindness and care they provided to our loved one.
