Marcia Lee Ware Davilla, 91, of Hog Creek, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on July 4, 2026. She was born on May 15, 1935, to Allen and Loretta (Geikaumah) Ware in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Marcia grew up at Hog Creek and attended Saint Patrick’s Catholic Misson then transferred to Riverside Indian School. Marcia met Johnny while she was attending school, there Johnny continued to sneak in and court Marica. During that time, she was involved in cheerleading and basketball and learned homemaking and her sewing skills. She was a lifetime member of Ware’s Chapel United Methodist Church. She married Johnny on June 6, 1952, in Henrietta, Texas. Shortly after marriage they continued to live in Anadarko then moved to Lawton where Johnny was employed for 30 + years with the civil service. After his retirement in 1973 the family moved back to Anadarko where they opened Snoopy’s Diner then Snoopy’s Indian Store and operated it for 16 ½ years. Marcia participated in the 2004 Inaugural exhibition “Our People” held at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian located in Washington, DC. There she researched and participated in cleaning artifacts and regalia of the Kiowa People. Marcia was a numerous Cancer Survivor.

A wake was held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Ware’s Chapel in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
Funeral services for 10 a.m., Friday, July 10, 2026, at Ware’s Chapel in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
Interment was in the Ware Cemetery in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
Services were under the direction of Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, Anadarko, OK.
