July 23, 2026

Ralph Glynn Pattison was born in Perryton, Texas, on February 12, 1946 to Ralph Lindale and Martha Lucille (Barnes) Pattison and passed away at his home in Weatherford, Oklahoma, on July 11, 2026, at the age of 80.
Glynn was raised on the Pattison family farm with his identical twin, Lynn, and little brother, Terry Pattison. Glynn and Lynn were proud graduates of 1966 Class in Spearman, Texas. He and Lynn immediately enlisted in the United States Navy in August of 1966 and retired in July 1994 with honors. After military retirement, Glynn began driving a truck, spending many of those years with National Carriers Trucking Company driving across the country.
In 2000, Glynn met the love of his life, Shirley Kay (Hargrove) Horn, and they were married at the Pattison farm on September 15, 2001. In 2005, Glynn and Shirley moved to Carnegie, Oklahoma, to be closer to the Horn kids and grandkids. In 2006, Glynn went to work for Carlos Squires, County Commissioner as a truck driver for Caddo County District 3 and served two other commissioners. He retired after 20 years of service. After retirement, Glynn and Shirley sold their Carnegie home and moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma, to be closer to the Horn kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids in 2025.
Glynn always enjoyed visiting with his 1966 classmates, his Navy submarine friends and making new friends sharing old Submarine stories. He never went a day without talking to his brothers. He always loved keeping up with his extended family members as well. He enjoyed following the grandkids to sporting events, weddings, births, and anything they were involved in. He was a proud Papa Glynn. He and Shirley also loved traveling to Branson, MO with his brother, Terry, and sister-in-law, Garen, to eat at Lamberts and see all the shows, especially The Haygood's. His favorite past time was watching the Dallas Cowboys, NASCAR and the OKC Thunder.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Glynn is survived by his wife, Shirley Pattison of the home; daughters, Michelle Latta and Jennifer Yates of San Antonio, Texas; son, Dean Horn, Jr. and his wife, Ronda of Weatherford, Oklahoma; twin brother, Bernard Lynn Pattison and his wife, Peggy of Perryton, Texas; brother, Terry Pattison and his wife, Garen of Perryton, Texas; grandchildren, Easton, Griffin and Laurel Morsi, Clinton Horn and his wife, Emilie, Cameron Horn Boogaard and her husband, John; and 3 great-grandchildren, Huntley, Hadlie and Rahder.
