The’ Big Cat’ and I are gearing up for ‘23

For years and years (more than I care to remember, actually), I have been a sports freak. Perhaps it is because my mother went into labor with me while at the Astrodome. Maybe it’s because She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Made-Mad encouraged me too so she could get her biggest kid out of the house for hours on end.

Whatever the reason, it is almost time for Heaven to descend on the U.S. again ... high school sports season, And I’m ready.

Here’s the cool thing. We are hoping to broadcast games through the paper’s website this fall. To do that, we need a few parents/businesses/etc. to help sponsor it. We need about eight sponsors who would be willing to spend $25 per week to cover the cost associated with games. Robert “The Big Cat” Gilbert and I will take to the airwaves to bring a radio call of Carnegie and Mountain View sports to the fine folks in the area.
