Maria Teresa Torres

Maria Teresa Torres, 58, passed away surrounded by her family on July 4, 2024, in Carnegie, OK. She was born on October 7, 1965, to Mercedes Gaytan, in Guanjuato, Mexico. She met and married the love of her life, Sabino Torres, on January 23, 1992, in Dallas, Texas. Together they made their home in Oklahoma City, raising their children, Norma, Sabino and Mercedes. She will be dearly missed by all who knew & loved her.

Survivors include her husband, Sabino Torres, Carnegie, OK; children: Norma Villegas and husband, Noe, Carnegie, OK, Sabino Torres, Jr. and wife, Nancy, Oklahoma City, OK, and Mercedes Torres, Carnegie, OK. She is also survived by a grandchild, Noe Villegas, Jr., Carnegie, OK; and siblings: Guadalupe Torres and wife, Evelia , CA, Miguel Gaytan and wife, Graciela, Oklahoma City, OK, Trinidad Robeledo and husband, Cevero, Mexico, Alicia Torres, Mexico, Silvia Gaytan, Mexico; a niece: Yanet Garcia, Oklahoma City, and brothers-in-law: Antonio Torres and wife, Christina, Oklahoma City, OK, and Pablo Torres and wife, Margarita, Oklahoma City, as well as a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mercedes Gaytan, and sister, Carmen Torres.

Funeral service were held at 12 noon on Monday, July 15, 2024, at the Little Flower Church in Oklahoma City, OK. Visitation was from 1- 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2024, and from 1- 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home in Carnegie, OK.

Interment was in the Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City, OK.

Services were under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie, OK.
