Dale Allen Jackson

Dale Allen Jackson, 77, of Mountain View, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 23, 2024, at the Carnegie Hospital in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Dale was born on February 24, 1947, in Carnegie OK to Warren and Trecil Jackson. Dale spent some of his younger years in Sunnyvale, CA, and moved back to Mountain View, OK in the sixth grade. He graduated from Mountain View High School in 1965. He attended 2 years of College at Southwestern College in Weatherford. He married Sandra Sue Dorrell on June 11, 1966.

They had a cafe for a short time in Clinton, OK, and then worked for the Farmers Co-op & Elevator for several years. After this, he owned and operated Jackson’ General Repair Shop in Carnegie, OK. Dale and family then moved to Tennessee in the late 1980’s While in Tennessee, he worked for a swimming pool installation company, the pizza crust factory, and the galvanizing plant. In the mid 1990’s moved to Fort Cobb, OK and performed small engine repair work. Dale married Reba Patton in 2012 and moved back to Mountain View and retired.

He was predeceased by his parents, Warren and Trecil Jackson; his brothers, Larry and Glen; and Sandra Sue, the mother of his sons, Shadd, Shawn and Shamron.

He is survived by his sons, Shadd and wife, Michelle; Shawn and wife, Mary; and Shamron and wife, Joanna; step-daughters, Kelly, Kristy and Kati; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and two expected great-grandchildren; a sister, Deanna, and husband, Ron; a sister-in-law, Dena; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024 at the First Baptist Church in Mountain View, Oklahoma.
