Brenda Sue Chaddlesone
Brenda Sue Chaddlesone (McMillin Tsoodle), passed away on July 26, 2024, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born on July 1, 1961, in Arlington, Texas. She grew up and attended school in Fort Cobb, OK. Brenda met and married the love of her life, Lester “Coke” Chaddlesone. She attended vocational training to be a hairdresser. She worked as a hairdresser until she felt a calling to do something more. Brenda dedicated herself, along with her husband, Coke, to serving others as a jail and prison minister, touching the lives of many with her compassion and unwavering faith. Her impactful work reverberated within the walls of correctional facilities, offering hope and redemption to those in need.
Brenda was a proud member of the Kiowa Tribe. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She loved singing and later in life making and selling her handmade jewelry. She was a faithful member of Grace Christian Fellowship.
Survivors include her children: Pearl Chaddlesone, Fort Cobb, OK, Alicia Manning and husband, Ryan, Fort Cobb, OK, Angel Marcum and husband, Josh, Binger, OK; grandchildren: Joseph Velarde-Martinez, Fort Cobb, OK, Shirley Marcum and Gabriel Marcum of Binger, OK; siblings: Lindrith Tsoodle, of Hayward, Wisconsin, and Donna Bass, of Burkburnett, TX. She is also survived by a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by husband: Lester “Coke” Chaddlesone; parents: Hawley and Mary (Redbird) Tsoodle; adoptive parents, Ray and Dessie McMillin; adoptive sister, Frances McMillin; sister, Debbie Spore; brother, Terald Tsoodle, and Anthony of the Wichita Tribe.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Grace Christian Fellowship in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Interment was in Ware’s Cemetery in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
