Dorothy Wanyne Beartrack-Boynton

Dorothy Wanyne Beartrack-Boynton, 80, went to her Heavenly home on August 9, 2024, in her home surrounded by family in Anadarko, OK. Dorothy was born on September 22, 1943, to Raymond Beartrack and Mollie Boone-Beartrack in Lawton, OK.

Dorothy attended St. Patrick’s Mission from the ages of 6 to 9 years old. Then she attended and graduated from Broxton in 1962. She later went on to marry her beloved husband, Ronald Boynto,n on October 11, 1962. They were married for 48 years. Blessing them with their children.

She worked as a CMA where she work for many healthcare facilities for many years. She then retired from Apex Inc. where she worked for 20+ years. She was a life-long resident in the Anadarko community. A member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma, and an avid OU Sooner and Anadarko Warrior sports fan. Dorothy always had a love for cats. Taking care for every animal in need. She enjoyed eating out and playing at the casino. Spending time with family and friends. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren always brought her great joy with a big smile.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Ronda Boynton-Satepeahtaw and husband, Denzil Satepeahtaw, and Susan Ferguson of Anadarko, OK and son, Donald Boynton of Oklahoma City, OK; Nine grandchildren: Joe Gragg Jr., Justin Craddock, Latosha Gragg-Bohay, Shannin Gragg, Skylar Gragg, Kiley Rock, Caleb Rock, Rhianna Boynton and Donoven Boynton; 13 great-grandchildren: Damien Beck, Summer Martinez, Marlin Martinez, J.J. Allen, Rhyla Gragg, Haylee, Gragg, Persephone Bohay, Karson Frank, Brylon Frank, Mia Craddock, Liam Craddock, Evalynn Gragg, and Ellianah Frank. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Penny Sparkman; and lifelong friends: Rose Ann Pruitt and Sherry Bryant, as well as her nieces, nephews and many other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Mollie Beartrack; her siblings, Edmond Beartrack, Winona Edge, Ruby “Biggie” Punley, Leon “Stix” Beartrack, and Clifton and Lillian Beartrack; as well as by her granddaughter, Leah Derichsweiler.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Anadarko, Oklahoma.

Visitation was from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home in Anadarko, Oklahoma. A Wake was held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home in Anadarko, Oklahoma.

Interment was in Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
