Ethel Fay (Kelley) Parks

Ethel Fay (Kelley) Parks was born September 15, 1939, to Grady and Clairsie (Sparks) Kelley in Waldron, Arkansas. She passed away on February 8, 2025, in Altus, Oklahoma, at the age of 85.
Her family moved to Gotebo, Oklahoma, in 1953. Fay graduated from Gotebo High School in May, 1958. She married Durward Parks on September 5, 1958. They were married for 62 years before his passing in 2020. They had two wonderful daughters, Kelley and Shelly. They were later blessed to add two granddaughters to the family and then three great-grandchildren, who they enjoyed very much.
Fay enjoyed sewing, yard work, playing the piano and singing at church. She was a member of the Faith Christian Ministry in Mountain View, Oklahoma. Fay worked at Modern Appliance in Hobart, Oklahoma, for several years. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Clairsie Kelley; husband, Durward; brothers: Joe, Norman and Dwayne; sisters: Jimmie Wiebe, Mary Coffey, Ruth Eskew and Erna Justine Kelley; son -in-law, Carl Hilburn, Jr.; and brothers-in-law, Jona Wiebe, Bobby Coffey, and Royce Eskew.
Survivors include her daughters, Kelley Hilburn, Gotebo, OK and special friend Neal Hobbs, Shelly Hoenshell and husband Jeff, Mountain View, OK; granddaughters: Lori Heller and husband Dallon, Gotebo, OK, Jessica Sanders and husband, Jerret, McAlester, OK; and great-grandchildren, Grady Heller, Gentry Sanders and Gracyn Sanders. She is also survived by her brother, Grady Kelley, Jr. and sisters-in-law, Sue and Norma Kelley, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Ray and Martha’s Funeral Home Chapel, Hobart. 
Visitation was from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, and from 1-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Ray and Martha’s Funeral Home, Hobart.
Interment was in the Odessa Cemetery, Gotebo, OK. 
Services were under the direction of Ray and Martha’s Funeral Home, Hobart.
