Ellen Cordelia (Little) McCullough

Ellen Cordelia (Little) McCullough, 87, of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on March 1, 2025.
She was born on October 17, 1937, to Melvin and Ina (McLemore) Little in Colony, Oklahoma. Cordelia grew up and attended school in Colony and Carnegie, graduating from Carnegie High School. She received a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Cordelia married Allen McCullough on June 3, 1958 at the Weatherford Church of Christ. To this union were born two children, Mark Allen and Brian Keith. She taught school at Carnegie for 30 years, and was Teacher of the year during this time. She was a member of OEA and OREA. Cordelia was a member of the Fort Cobb Church of Christ, where she was baptized on May 25, 1958, taught Sunday School and was also an elders’ wife. 
Survivors include her sons: Brian Keith McCullough and wife Nancy Jo, Fort Cobb, OK, Mark Allen McCullough, Edmond, OK; grandchildren: Clay Allen McCullough and wife Addy, New Braunfels, TX, Lane Carson McCullough, Fort Cobb, OK, Tara McCullough, San Antonio, TX; great-grandchildren: Oakley Faye and Masyn May, New Braunfels, TX, Reese Ellen and numerous other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Ina Little; her husband of 34 years, Allen McCullough; five grandchildren, a great-grandchild; brothers: Dean Little and Ronnie Little; sisters-in-law, Wanda and Sandra.
Visitation was 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, 2025, and from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home in Carnegie, Oklahoma.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Friday, March 7, 2025, at the Fort Cobb Church of Christ in Fort Cobb.
Interment was in the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma.
