Blanche Elaine Creepingbear

Blanche Elaine Creepingbear, 72, passed away on August 12, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born January 18, 1953, in Lawton, OK, to Newton Purdy and Christine Twohatchet, and was a proud member of the Kiowa Tribe.
Blanche grew up in Fort Cobb and graduated from Fort Cobb High School. She was married to Tim Nestell early in life, and later married the love of her life, Theodore Creepingbear.
Blanche had a creative spirit and loved making beautiful things—beadwork, paintings, and sculptures were some of her favorite ways to express herself. More than anything, she loved her family. She was happiest when surrounded by them, sharing meals, stories, and laughter. Her kindness, humor, and creativity touched everyone who knew her.
Survivors include her children: Blanche Elaine Creepingbear, Anadarko, OK and Marian Gail Creepingbear, CA; grandchildren: Jodicee Kossechony, Daniel Creepingbear, Damon Nimsey, Anthony Creepingbear, Mary Castro, Maggie Castro, Shikhoda Lee Nestell and Makayla Nestell; siblings: Marian Kay Hasson, Evangeline Kaulaity, Larry Kaulaity, Goldie James, Val Tate, Cynthia Parton, John McAdams; as well as a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Creepingbear; son, Anthony “Tony” Lee Nestell; parents, Newton Purdy and Christine Twohatchet; sister, Lelonnie Kaulaity; nephews, Richard Tartsah and Donald “Slick” James Bread
Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Friday, August 15, 2025, at Christ Our Savior Church in Anadarko, OK.
Visitation was from 1-8 p.m., Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home in Anadarko, OK. Interment was in the Twohatchet Cemetery in Fort Cobb, OK.
Services were under the direction of Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, Anadarko, OK.
